18 Family Fun Day
The St. Joseph Religious Education Program welcomes all parish families to kick off the new school year with a Family Fun Day on Sunday, September 18, 2022, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m., on the grounds outside the Parish Center, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange. The day will include a brief Family Prayer Service, with the blessing of catechists and parents, followed by a few hours of fun and games, crafts, a bouncy castle -- and food trucks! Families may purchase items from locally-based Benji's Taco Truck & Mike's Ice Cream Truck. Students and parents will get to meet their catechists and our new pastor, Fr. Lito. 25 Children's Liturgy
The Children's Liturgy has returned! We’re not yet ready to invite the children up on the altar, but Fr. Lito will engage them with an interactive homily. So we encourage all families to sit toward the front of the church. Also, children who arrive a little early will be invited to bring up the Offertory Gifts, and the Readings will be from the Children’s Lectionary. Please plan to attend! Grades K - 4 Religious Ed.
