In an effort to assist in the monumental mission of protecting children from abuse, the Archdiocese of Newark Department for the Protection of the Faithful is offering a new program this year entitled, "Empowering God's Children." Below are links to several documents that explain the program in detail. Our parish is offering the parent-led option of the program that features two age-appropriate lessons with a video component and learning activities, plus two very helpful resources to assist parents in delivering the lessons.
All families are being offered the opportunity to participate in this program. However, you have the ability to "opt" your children out of the program by downloading this document and returning it to the rectory.
