Dear Parishioners,
We all experience those times when things are very good for us and we can see how much God loves us. At those times, it's very easy to recognize God's presence and turn to him with prayers of thanksgiving.
We also experience those times when things are difficult, some challenges are greater than others. Do we question God at these times? Do we wonder where God is and why He's doing this to us?
It's important to remember that God is present to us in the difficult times as much as in the good times. God doesn't make bad things happen to us. He's not only present to us but helping us through these difficult times, even though we don't realize it.
God wants us to come to Him with our challenges. A true sign of our faith is when we know we can turn to God and trust that He will help us. God our Father never turns His back on us. He is there for us. We need to believe in Him and trust Him.
