Dear Parishioners,

I hope everyone enjoyed your celebration of Christmas. I am sure many of you were together with your families, exchanged presents and enjoyed special time together. After the Christmas Masses, I went to see my family. We exchanged presents, and I enjoyed the time with them.

Today we celebrate the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. When Mary gave birth to Jesus, a family was formed. Mary and Joseph  couldn't find a room, so they found shelter in a stable, which is where Mary gave birth to Jesus and laid him in a manger.

The Christmas season is a true celebration of family. Along with coming together with our families and celebrating the Holy Family, we come to Mass as a parish family. Together we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

I’d like to take this time to say how much the parish family of St. Joseph’s has meant to me. I’ve been the pastor of St. Joseph’s for six and a half years and have always felt a sense of family.

I’ve enjoyed getting to know all of you, letting you get to know me and serving as your pastor. As I will begin my new parish assignment on January 1, the start of the new year, be assured of my prayers and best wishes for every one of you. Thank you for the gift of being a part of your parish family.

 Sincerely in Christ,

Father Dominick
